Item 20: TODAY I JOINED THE PRINCIPAL FOR LUNCH!
The lucky winner and 3 friends will join Mrs. Newman for a pizza lunch at New London Pizza in West Acton. What toppings will you select for the pizza pie?! The lunch will be on a mutually convenient Thursday afternoon. Special thanks to: Mrs. Newman

Item 21: ALL ABOARD FOR AN AUCTION TRAIN RIDE! (morning kindergarten)
All Aboard for an Auction Train Ride with Mrs. Lamonakis and Mrs. Culhane! Four children will enjoy a delicious pizza lunch and ice cream dessert plus an exciting train ride! The lucky students will depart South Acton via train and travel to Concord and return back to South Acton on a mutually convenient date in the spring. Parents will provide transportation to/from the South Acton train station Special thanks to: Mrs. Lamonakis and Mrs. Culhane

Item 23: “CHOOSE A CRAFT” WORKSHOP!
The lucky bidder and up to 5 friends will spend time with Ms. Knight creating a wonderful craft after school on an agreed upon date. Choose from the following – polymer clay bead making, box making, jewelry making or book making. Everyone will complete the same craft and have a fun afternoon and a beautiful keepsake. Mrs. Knight will provide the necessary supplies. Students from 2nd grade and up. Special thanks to: Mrs. Knight

Item 24: LET’S HAVE LUNCH AND DO A PROJECT AT ‘VILLAGE ART’ IN WEST ACTON!
Join Mrs. Konde for pizza and drinks at Gates, and after lunch, walk to Village Art and create a wonderful project. This event will take place on a Thursday after school at a mutually agreed upon date. Special thanks to: Mrs. Konde

Item 25: LUNCH AND PROJECT AT ‘VILLAGE ART’ IN WEST ACTON!

Item 26: BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS!
Start your day in a healthy way! Four children can join Ms. Stoffel for a breakfast of Wheaties, whole milk, o.j. and bananas while talking sports news and trivia. ESPN will be on the Smartboard! After breakfast, go to the gym and play wiffleball. Each child will take home his/her own wiffleball and bat. This wonderful event can take place from 8 -9 am on a mutually agreed upon day! Item 27: LUNCH AND THE SYMPHONY
Are you available Saturday, March 6, 2010? Mrs. Ward will take 2 students to a Boston Symphony Youth Concert and lunch at the Prudential Center. The BSO has not yet announced the program, but whatever they play it will be amazing! This event is suitable for students in grade 2 or higher. Please note that this event can only be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010. Leave Acton at 10:30 and return at 3:30. Special thanks to: Mrs. Ward

Item 28: BASKETBALL CHALLENGE AND PIZZA!
Game on! Mr. Tomlin will host a team of up to 8 students to challenge Mrs. Montepeluso and her team (see item 29 below) to a basketball game after school at a mutually agreed upon date. This is high stakes competition and after the game both teams will enjoy pizza! Who will have the bragging rights? Grades 4, 5 and 6. Special thanks to: Mr. Tomlin

Item 29: BASKETBALL CHALLENGE AND PIZZA!
Game really on! Put your team of 8 together and join Mrs. Montepeluso in a basketball game to be played against Mr. Tomlin’s team (see item 28 above). The lucky winner will choose a team and play a basketball game after school at a mutually agreed upon date. After the game, both teams will enjoy pizza. Come and get in the game! Grades 4, 5 and 6. Item 30: COME TO SEE A MOVIE ON THE BIG SCREEN SMARTBOARD
Join Mrs. Ryder for a special movie screening in the classroom. The winner and up to 3 friends will enjoy popcorns and drinks and watch a movie of their choice on the Smartboard! The event will take place at a mutually convenient time. Special thanks to: Mrs. Ryder

Item 31: HOST A DRIVE-IN STYLE MOVIE PARTY!
Host a Drive-In style movie party for your whole class. We’ll move the desks and lay down blankets. We’ll turn room three into a “Drive In”. As the host you will get to choose the kid-friendly movie and send out a movie poster that you designed on Print Shop, to all of your classmates. The movie will be shown on our over-sized projection screen via Mrs. Taylor’s laptop and in-focus machine. This item can be split by a maximum of 2 families. Item 32: LET’S GO – BOWLING AND PIZZA!
The lucky winner and up to 3 friends will join Mrs. Subsick and Mrs. Truesdell on a Thursday after school and enjoy a great pizza lunch at Sorrentos and then go bowling and play in the arcade! You will meet at Sorrentos on a Thursday after school from 1:15 -3:15 pm on an agreed upon day in the spring. Families will provide transportation. Special thanks to: Mrs. Subsick and Mrs. Truesdell

Join Ms. Granado for a Nintendo Wii Party! The lucky 6th grade winner and 3 friends can enjoy a Thursday afternoon Wii party in the classroom, including pizza, snacks, and drinks! Come and experience the excitement of video games on the large screen Smart board on a mutually convenient day in the spring! This is sure to be an exciting and fun afternoon! Item 38: FAMILY TIME – OPEN GYM

Item 39: PLAY TIME AT KIMBALL FARM FOR TWO
Play time! You and a special friend will be treated to an adventurous spring afternoon playing mini golf and dodging bumper boats at Kimball Farm with Mrs. Kokkinos. Begin with a picnic lunch and end the adventure with a famous Kimball’s ice cream! Date will be mutually decided and families will provide transportation to/from the event. Item 44: HEALTHY LUNCH AT SAVORY LANE AND SIGNED PRINT!
Yours to keep and enjoy - a Hansel and Gretel “Healthy Eating” print, signed by the artist! Mrs. Spring, R.N. of the Gates Health Office, will also host a healthy lunch for the winner and a friend at Savory Lane on a mutually agreed upon Thursday after school this spring. She will also provide a lesson on proper choking first aid. Students will be picked up from Savory Lane at 2:30 by parents/guardians. Special thanks to: Mrs. Spring, R.N. and Mrs. Reievson R.N.

Item 45: AN AFTERNOON OF BAKING AND TASTING!
You and three friends can join Mrs. Wilcox after school at Gates for an afternoon of tasting and baking. You can choose from a number of bread, muffin and cookie recipes and spend the afternoon cooking up delicious treats. This is sure to be an exciting and fun afternoon and you must let Mrs. Wilcox know of any food allergies prior to the selection of the food items! Special thanks to: Mrs. Wilcox

Item 46: PAINT A STORY
Mrs. O’Brien and Mrs. Barrett will host a story and book talk in the library for the lucky winner and a friend. After the book talk, the children will paint a favorite scene from the story on a wooden library chair. The chair will remain in the library for all to enjoy for years to come!
