Fall Social Olympiad!

GATES SCHOOL OLYMPIAD!
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21ST
6:30 – 8:30 P.M.

Volunteers needed for ticket sales, bake sale, apparel sales, set-up, clean-up and games. Sign up online if you can help!

Run as a decathlon with 10 events, everyone has a chance to win!
There will be 3 divisions;
K-3 Challengers, 4-6 Contenders and Star Competitors.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Champions will be announced and participate in an award ceremony and victory lap!

There is a $10/Family Entrance Fee to Compete in the Following Events:

Mrs. Gottlieb’s “Got Elastic” Shoot Out – knock down cups with an elastic band. Watch Out, they may shoot back!

PTO “Disc”us Throw – Take your shot to throw a CD through a window. Yes, through a window!

Mr. Haras’ “Green Team” Steam – Toss plastic bottles into a recycling bin. Save the planet as you go for gold!

Mrs. Reed’s “Crazy Cart” Course – A go-cart  event is so exciting they banned it from the X-Games!

Mrs. Ward’s “Music Mania” – She knows her music, but miscounted the chairs!

Mrs. Knight’s “Fan”tastic Creations – Competitors race to fold and create a fan. Watch out for paper cuts!

Mrs. Newman’s “Morning Announcements” – Memorize and recite our special & silly announcements!

Mrs. O’Brien’s “Book Blast” – She is the Book Jedi, use the force to quickly sort and organize 20 book titles!

Mrs. Beardsley’s “Balancing Act” – Balance an item on your head while walking. Sound simple? There’s a secret…

Mrs. McCusker’s “Lunch Away” – Place items on a lunch tray in order then duck, dive and dodge to reach your seat.
