PTO Board

The Gates PTO Board consists of six members who attend all meetings and help coordinate and report on ongoing objectives of the PTO. The six board members consist of;

Sr. and Jr. Co-Chairs; Each chairperson serves a two-year term, first as Jr. Chair followed by a Sr. Chair year. These officers are voted in yearly and are responsible for coordinating and supporting the work of all committees in order to promote the objectives of the PTO overall.

Treasurers; A Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer each serve a two-year term, first as the Assistant Treasurer followed by a year as Treasurer. These members are voted in yearly and are responsible for Accounts Receivable & Payable, accurate records of receipts and expenditures, as well as reporting the budget status at monthly meetings.

Recording Secretary; serves a one-year term and is responsible for keeping an accurate record of all activity and discussion at monthly meetings and posting minutes to the PTO website.

Corresponding Secretary; serves a one-year term and is responsible for communicating PTO activities, events and general information to the Gates community including the lobby calendar and weekly “This Week at Gates” email.
